The internationally acclaimed supplier of online casino games has broken ground in the North American market through an exclusive link-up
Yggdrasil is starting the year on a strong note with the company teaming up with Aristocrat Interactive, the eponymous firm’s Real Money Gaming division, which will now distribute the former’s titles across the North American market.
Yggdrasil Makes a Splash in the Online Casino Market in the US and Canada
The deal specifically focuses on the markets in the United States and Ontario, Canada, and is going to see Aristocrat Interactive launch Yggdrasil’s outstanding content with some of the leading local operators.
Although no such roll-outs have been confirmed to date, the partnership allows for Yggdrasil to rapidly catch up to other content providers, such as RubyPlay, Relax Gaming and Play’n Go that have either had a presence in the market for a long while or have recently entered the North American iGaming ecosystem.
Yggdrasil has much to offer all of its own, with titles such as Valley of the Dead OnlyWins, Aphrodite Goes Wild Rushing Wilds, and 3 Gladiators vs Caesar. The partnership is a significant step forward for the company, as confirmed by its Chief Commercial Officer, Jose Simon, who spared no compliments.
“Aristocrat Interactive’s platform offers us everything we need to succeed in the region, and we have the utmost confidence that our profile will enhance considerably in this key market in the coming years,” Simon explained.
He was recently appointed to the position of a CCO at Yggdrasil, following a full year with the company before that. Simon called Aristocrat Interactive one of the most significant entities in the online casino industry.
Yggdrasil’s Slots Games Deployed by Aristocrat’s Ignite Platform
Aristocrat Interactive Content & Aggregation Director of Partnerships Ahsley Bloor was similarly pleased with the opportunity to see Yggdrasil join the company’s Ignite platform.
Thanks to Ignite, Aristocrat Interactive will be able to deploy the studio’s games across licensed markets where they are licensed, as well as with regulated operators across North America.
This is just a start for the two companies which will seek to further explore their relationship in the market and roll out products with premier operators.
“We are thrilled to welcome Yggdrasil to Ignite and integrate its engaging and dynamic content into our portfolio, enhancing the variety and quality of content we offer our operators,” Bloor concluded.
