The EuroMillions lottery has issued a reminder that a person who holds a $103 million ( £83.4 million) ticket needs to claim it before it expires. The jackpot was won during a Friday drawing last week and a person has yet to step up to claim it.

EuroMillions Winner Wanted – $103 Million on the Line

In most cases, the jackpots are claimed only days after they have been won, and any delay could suggest that the person is not aware of their good fortune. Lottery purchases have become a bit of a habit for some players, meaning that they often tend to not win and therefore may dispose of or misplace their lottery ticket all the same.

Allwyn, which hosts EuroMillions in the UK, had more details to offer about the recent win, which has not been claimed just yet. According to the new National Lottery operator, which ousted the former incumbent Camelot amid much drama, the winner had purchased their ticket at a retail venue.

They have matched all five main numbers and hit both Lucky Star numbers guaranteeing them a sizeable win. They won with 2, 11, 19, 30, and 49 as regular numbers, and Lucky Star numbers of 3 and 8.

As to Allwyn, seniors winners advisor Andy Carter said that the lottery was surprised that nobody stepped out to claim the $103-million prize just yet, urging people who may have purchased tickets for the EuroMillions draw and forgot to check it to do so soon.

“It’s only been six days since the EuroMillions draw but, we’re waiting with bated breath to pay out this latest huge winner. We’re urging all EuroMillions players to check their paper tickets to see if they are our missing multi-millionaire,” Carter added, confident that time was still in favor of the winner and that not all was lost.

Of course, Carter turned this statement into another marketing coup for Allwyn, arguing that this was the first big jackpot for the year – and a EuroMillions prize. In 2024, Allwyn turned another lucky person into a winner. One anonymous player bagged $220 million (£177 million) from a draw.

Big Jackpot Winners from EuroMillions Are Well-Recorded in the UK

However, neither win is the biggest ever recorded by the EuroMillions UK game, which awarded £195 million (roughly $242 million) to another anonymous winner back in 2022.

As for the highest win from the lottery to have been made public, the accolade goes to Joe and Jess Thwaite from Gloucester who won almost the same amount, again in 2022 – £184 million or around $228 million.
