He will oversee the programming and operations strategy of the company and seek to build on and expand the division’s reach and pull with customers, as the company seeks to offer ever-better experiences in the live entertainment sector.

Commenting on the opportunity to appoint a new seasoned veteran, MGM Resorts’ chief content, hospitality, and development officer, Ari Kastrati, had this to say in a press release shared by the company:

“Ryan’s leadership and experience will be instrumental in seamlessly integrating art, sports and immersive content at MGM Resorts. We are thrilled to welcome Ryan to Las Vegas, as he delivers unforgettable experiences to our guests.”

Abboushi is not a chance hire either, as he has spent 16 years with Creative Arts Agency, a talent and sports agency, where he has been able to work on various films, television shows, and specials that were created in collaboration with skilled storytellers and has been delivering strong results for clients.

Abboushi will now have at his disposal numerous assets to manage and leverage for the betterment of the brand’s entertainment efforts, including show bookings, talent management, partner relationships, and more, all of which he will oversee himself.

Seasoned Veteran and Many Avenues of Opportunity to Explore

In the meantime, BetMGM has continued to capture headlines. Only recently, the company revealed the details about a $609,198 jackpot win by a Michigan player who played the casino-exclusive MGM Grand Millions.

A player also flipped a $1.76 bet into a $10,331.70 payout, with the MGM brand continuing to generate excitement through its multi-million-dollar prizes available to players all over the country. Abboushi will lean into that and other assets to boost the entertainment value that the MGM brand adds for players.
