Cherry Play, a new game studio, has made its debut in the Netherlands after closing a deal with Hard Rock Casino NL that will see its first run of slots launch with the Dutch online operator.
Cherry Play broke cover in December with the announcement of Olga Bajela as CEO and the unveiling of a never-seen-before subscription-based commercial model.
Hard Rock Casino NL will be among the first to benefit from this, paying a licence fee instead of the industry-standard revenue share to add Cherry Play’s first slot titles to its casino lobby in the thriving Dutch market. This includes Multi Banks, Super Coin and Golden Cherry jackpot system.
Cherry Play’s slots are developed on the powerful Bragg Gaming technology stack to ensure the highest quality of product and the most efficient integration.
Hard Rock Casino NL is the first operator announcement for the ambitious studio which plans to disrupt the status quo in the Netherlands and other regulated markets across the world.
Olga Bajela, CEO of Cherry Play, says: “I’m thrilled to announce Hard Rock Casino NL as our first operator partner, marking our debut in the Netherlands.
“While great games are important for any studio, especially a new one, we believe the commercial agreements through which games are offered needed a shake-up and that is why we launched with our subscription offering.
“Operators access our content for a fixed cost, ensuring they benefit from the revenues they generate. It also incentivises them to give our games better positions and extra promotional spend.”
Cristiano Blanco, CEO at Hard Rock Casino NL, adds: “We have become a leading online casino destination for players in the Netherlands because of our extensive game offering and this deal with Cherry Play strengthens that with entertaining classic slot titles.
“We look to differentiate in our game offer to our players and believe Cherry Play fulfils that role. We are delighted to be amongst the first online casino operators to offer its content to players in the Netherlands.”
