IGT emphasized that this 10-year contract was awarded following a European public procurement procedure
IGT, a leader in the provision of gaming content and tech to operators, has unveiled a new contract with the national lottery of Luxembourg, Loterie Nationale. Per the agreement, the supplier will power the lottery’s operation with cutting-edge technology and games.
IGT Powers the Luxembourg Lottery with Its Technology
According to the announcement, the new 10-year contract with Loterie Nationale will see IGT deploy its player-centric OMNIA solution, including its cloud-based iLottery system and remote game server (RGS). The provider will furthermore upgrade the Lottery’s gaming system and introduce new point-of-sale terminals and peripherals.
OMNIA, for context, is IGT’s integrated lottery solution, which brings together the company’s best-in-class retail and digital lottery solutions. By leveraging reliable data and novel solutions, OMNIA helps IGT’s partners modernize the experience for their retail players. In this case, OMNIA will arm Loterie Nationale with a vast array of user-friendly tools and reporting capabilities.
In addition to that, IGT will provide the Luxembourg lottery with its recently updated Retailer Pro terminals, as well as GameTouch and GameTouch Draw S2 self-service vending machines.
To top it all off, IGT’s iLottery system, natively integrated into OMNIA, will offer dynamic scalability, speed to market and responsible gaming features.
IGT emphasized that this 10-year contract was awarded following a European public procurement procedure. Under its terms, IGT will continue to supply the lottery with content through 2036.
Loterie Nationale Is Happy to Continue Its Relationship with IGT
Loterie Nationale hailed the partnership with IGT, praising the company as a trusted partner to the lottery. The Luxembourg lottery has worked with IGT for over two decades and was happy to expand this relationship.
Léon Losch, director of Loterie Nationale said: “Upgrading our lottery and iLottery solutions with IGT’s advanced technology can pave the way for our continued sales growth, provide our players with best-in-class experiences and position us to continue our support of good causes.”
In the meantime, Jay Gordon, IGT’s chief operating officer of global lottery, welcomed the extension of his company’s long-standing partnership with Loterie Nationale. He added that his team hopes to continue the momentum and allow Loterie Nationale to continue engaging its players with unparalleled content.
We look forward to continuing that momentum through our future-forward technology portfolio that gives Loterie Nationale access to top-performing IGT games, improved analytics, advanced responsible gaming tools and increased scalability.
