On April 5, a Wheel of Fortune player managed to scoop up a $1,709,369 payout from the Wheel of Fortune High Roller at Cocopah Casino & Resort in Somerton, Arizona, making it one of the largest wins of the month – and outside of Las Vegas, of all places!
Down the list, on April 8, a player won the CA$1,172,773 Wheel of Fortune Shimmering Sapphires in New Brunswick, Canada, sending the prize across the border. Then, on April 12, another player won $1,515,034 on the Whitney Houston slot at Virgin Hotels Las Vegas.
This was topped by an April 13 win when a player at the Pechanga Resort Casino in Temecula, California scooped $4,178,889 from the Megabucks Mega Vault, with one player getting to celebrate in style.
A close second is the win that came on April 22, when a Wheel of Fortune player won $3,257,765 playing at Harlow’s Casino Resort in Greenville, Mississippi.
IGT’s games and jackpot machines are some of the world’s finest, having awarded more than $3.6 billion in jackpots since the Wide Area Progressive jackpot system was first introduced in 1986 with Megabucks, with more than 1,200 millionaires minted since that time.
