Octoplay Pushes Forward in Denmark with Danske Spil

The acclaimed supplier continues to expand its regional clout as it doubles on an important European iGaming market

Octoplay has confirmed that it has signed a partnership with the state-owned gambling operator, Danske Spil, in Denmark, and that it will be delivering its portfolio of high-performing and player-favorite games locally.

Octoplay Expands with Danske Spil in Denmark

Denmark is one of the strongest-performing online casino markets in Europe, giving Octoplay an extra incentive to try and deploy its titles across as many local operators as possible. While this is not the first content tie-up Octoplay has enjoyed locally, it has been keen to push across Denmark as well as the wider Nordic region.

Octoplay has similarly looked to position itself in other core European markets, among which are Sweden with Svenska Spel, and JACKS.NL in the Netherlands. The supplier similarly carved out a content deal with the Rank Group in the United Kingdom only recently.

Octoplay has welcomed the opportunity to partner with Danske Spil, not just because it demonstrated its commitment to the local European market, but also because it exemplified the supplier’s dedication to working in some of the best-regulated markets in Europe and reaching audiences in a responsible way.

Danske Spil senior games & analytics manager Simon Hoffmann Riis was similarly pleased to see the company’s portfolio strengthened with the addition of a portfolio of high-performing games that have appealed to players all across Europe. Riis said:

Octoplay is determined to maintain a strong content footprint in Europe, where the company has been licensed to operate in more than 10 markets at present.

The supplier is looking to expand both locally in the markets where it is already allowed to bring its B2B portfolio, but is also looking to secure partnerships in other regions and geographies, including North America.
