A teaching assistant who met with an underage boy for reportedly physical romantic relationship visited Sam’s Town Hotel & Gambling Hall during a tryst on at least one occasion
Jerusalem Garcia, 20, has been charged with contact and attempting to contact a minor for sex, the Las Vegas Review-Journal originally reported. Garcia is due to appear in court on Monday, September 30, where she awaits the next stage of the trial.

Investigators did not find physical evidence of the teaching assistant engaging in a sexual relationship, but the romantic partnership did become physical, as the couple would cuddle and kiss, although it’s not clear whether the couple spent time at hotels together or just hung at public spaces, where the identification was made possible.
Although the age of the student was not disclosed, an underage individual in the state of Nevada would be anyone under the age of 18, who is having a relationship with an adult, i.e. anyone over that age. The boy is likely in his teens.
The couple was spotted at the Sam Town’s property which eventually led to the teacher assistant’s arrest. Garcia has denied having had a sexual relationship with the student, who is likely a teenager, but admitted that she had been tempted.
A police report was particularly sultry with the reporting officer going out of their way to describe the relationship. Garcia would “become aroused” because the boy would grab her buttocks and squeeze them with his hands.
“She then would have urges to have sexual intercourse with but refrained due to age,” the report further read.

The relationship between the pair went on for 12 or 15 dates and began with an intense exchange over Instagram where the couple professed their love for each other and vowed to be with each other forever.
Garcia is on leave presently as she awaits trial and even if things end up amicably for her, she is unlikely to return to Eldorado High School.
The case almost has the bearings of a love triangle with the teenager’s ex-girlfriend being the one to notify authorities, which allowed police to collect evidence from various venues, including Sam’s Town, and establish the physical relationship beyond any doubt.
It is not yet clear if the paramours have been in contact following the arrest nor if the underage individual would be allowed to testify in Garcia’s case.
