The man has previously pleaded guilty to cheating at casinos in Ohio and Pennsylvania and has even been called a “serial cheater”
A man from Tennessee, known for previous involvement in cheating at gambling, has once again been accused of breaking the rules. This time, the man was accused of placing additional bets after the craps dice had already been rolled.
Quinn Allegedly Engaged in Late Betting
The person in question is Ellis Quinn, of Memphis, who has previously admitted to having cheated at other casinos. This time, the man was playing craps at the JACK Cleveland Casino in downtown Cleveland.
According to the charges, the man placed additional bets on the winning number after the dice had been rolled, thus winning an additional $5,080. The incident occurred on July 31 this year and was not the first time Quinn’s honesty has been put in question.
Apparently, the 62-year-old man’s extra bets were recorded on camera, providing plaintiffs with solid evidence for the alleged cheating attempt.
As a result, Quinn has been summoned to appear in court.
The Man Has Been Described as a Serial Cheater
As mentioned, this isn’t the first time E.Q. has tried to cheat at a casino. The man has already been banned from gambling properties in Ohio and Pennsylvania because of similar convictions.
The man, who was described as a “serial cheater” by a judge in 2014, was banned from casinos in the state of Ohio after he was caught cheating on two independent occasions – once at the Hollywood Casino in Columbus and a second time at the Hollywood Casino in Toledo.
Back then, Quinn pleaded guilty to both violations and received a 30-month sentence.
Then, in 2018, the man struck once again and cheated at a casino in Pennsylvania, earning him another sentence and a ban in a second state.
Quinn has yet to enter a plea for his alleged cheating attempt at the JACK Cleveland Casino. He is set to appear in court for an arraignment on November 5.
Speaking of cheating, an online poker player in the US was just suspended over alleged usage of cheating software. The player, however, insisted he was innocent and promised his followers that he would be soon unbanned.
