The World Poker Tour’s online home, WPT Global, has launched its Spring Series Lunar Edition, a three-week poker extravaganza that kicked off on January 19.
The event, which will feature more than $8 million in guaranteed prizes across an impressive number of tournaments, will end on February 10.
Hundreds of Events to Join
With hundreds of tournaments catering to all bankroll levels, this is one of the most accessible and thrilling online poker festivals of the year.
The impressive list of WPTG Trophy Events includes the $25 Mini Bounty Championship and the $1,060 High Roller Championship, both with a $100,000 GTD, the $110 Asia Championship with a $150,000 GTD, the $2,100 High Roller Bounty Championship with $200,000 GTD, and the $215 Lunar Mystery Bounty Championship along with the ETP500, both featuring $400,000 GTD.
Some of the main events to look out for this week include the $110 Crazy Sunday PKO – $100,000 GTD scheduled for January 26 at 3:30 ET, the $55 Lucky Mystery Bounty – $40,000 GTD that will take place on the same day at 7:00 ET, and ongoing tournaments including the previously mentioned $25 Mini Bounty Championship and the $215 Lunar Mystery Bounty, both with Multiple Day 1 Flights Daily.
A Poker Festival for Everyone
The Spring Series Lunar Edition is designed to be inclusive and accessible, with buy-ins starting at $5.50 and going up to $2,100. Some tournaments will display buy-ins in yuan.
Joining side events will cost players no more than $110, and prizes will be guaranteed between $1,000 and $30,000.
The event will host 30 numbered and hundreds of side events, appealing to new poker players and seasoned pros.
To be eligible, players must be at least 18, provide accurate personal information when registering, and access the site only from an unrestricted country.
Registration is strictly limited to one person per household or device.
Participants can expect a diverse mix of tournament formats, including Mystery Bounties, progressive knockouts, and more.
Players who win tickets in WPT Global New Spring Series Lunar Edition satellites cannot transfer them to other players or events.
All expired tickets will be forfeited at the end of the event.
At the end of 2024, the WPT inked a new partnership with Indian poker platform PokerBaazi to further strengthen its global footprint and reach fresh audiences.
