The Innovation division is a newly-formed outfit within the company and Reddy has been selected to spearhead its success story. James R. Maida, GLI’s president and CEO, has hailed the importance of innovation in ensuring that GLI is in lockstep with technological advancements in the field of regulation and certification, and hence the need to set up this new department.
“In her new role, Sangeeta will continue to evolve our evaluation methodologies via her passion for R&D, her extensive experience both in and out of the gaming, and her strong academic background,” Maida said, offering praise to the new appointment.

Reddy is a well-versed professional in her chosen field. She started at another established company, IGT, where she was a PA Engineer and specialized in VLT slot games, which helped her cut her teeth and hone her skills a step further. It wasn’t until 2020, however, that Reddy made the transition to the certification company.
Reddy Sets Out on Lifelong Journey to Self-Improvement
In the interim between IGT and GLI, though, she took on more jobs, including in places such as General Motors and Thomson Reuters. IN terms of education, Reddy has been on a lifelong journey of self-improvement, and she holds a certificate from Harvard Business Publishing’s Emerging Leaders program.
She has similarly obtained various certifications in AI and ML, Cloud Computing, and more. Her track record and hands-on experience make her the ideal candidate to spearhead this new undertaking by bolstering the newly-formed innovation division.
